Ariat

The Ariat story began with footwear. The company was founded by Pam Parker and Beth Cross in 1992 and is based in California. Beth and Pam started out with the aim of designing the finest equestrian boots. Traditional leather riding boots were robust but lacked cushioning and moisture control. The ladies wanted to use the latest technologies and fabrics to create a new generation of equestrian footwear. They believed that riders should be able to enjoy the advanced performance which athletes in other sports already benefitted from.

Horse Riders as Athletes

The first Ariat riding boots were launched in 1993 and garnered rave reviews. For the first time equestrians could experience the comfort and performance provided by athletic shoes. Ariat had set a new benchmark for excellence.

Footwear With Style & Performance

In Ariat equestrian boots, Dri-Lex, Durabed and ATS (Advanced Torque Stability) technologies deliver optimum performance. This is partnered by elegant styling to create outstanding footwear. These are boots that have been created by equestrians specifically for riders so that they can get the most out of their time in the saddle.

Fine Equestrian Attire

Since the first Ariat boots were designed, the company has continued to strive for excellence and is always updating and improving the footwear it produces. The range has also been expanded to include fine equestrian attire for men, women and children. Ariat is a highly regarded label which is the choice of many leading riders around the world. In addition, Ariat are the official outfitter of the FEI (Federation Equestrian International).
