Mark Todd is one of the most celebrated sportsman in the Southern Hemisphere. He pioneered Three-day eventing in New Zealand and competed in five successive Olympic Games. His incredible career saw him claim two Olympic gold medals together with world team titles. He enjoyed many victories at Badminton and Burghley and was voted Event Rider of the 20th Century by the FEI.
Mark retired from international competition in 2000 but continued to breed horses in New Zealand. In 2008 he had a change of heart and returned to international competition. He qualified for and competed at the Beijing Olympics. He also competed at London 2012 where he won a team bronze. In short, there is nothing that Mark Todd hasn’t achieved.
