Without adequate L-Carnitine, the body cannot efficiently utilise fat as a fuel source, which can limit stamina and slow recovery.

What is MAH® and what does it do?

MAH® (Magnesium Aspartate Hydrochloride) is Nupafeed’s patented absorption technology. It acts as a carrier molecule that significantly enhances the bioavailability of L-Carnitine, ensuring more of the active ingredient reaches the tissues where it is needed. Is it safe for competition horses?

How do I feed it?

The recommended dose is 25ml twice a day, or 10ml per 100kg bodyweight of horse (i.e. 500kg horse: 50ml per day). Before competition the amount can be increased to 25ml 3 times a day, or can be doubled evening prior and morning of competition. The supplement should not enter the respiratory tract of the horse.
