Shires Cheltenham Gag Stainless Steel

The Cheltenham Gag is a single-jointed bit which creates a nutcracker action within the mouth, making it a more severe bit than a French Link or Lozenge. It features running cheeks which increase the amount of poll pressure that can be applied when attaching to the reins. This bit also applies pressure to the corners of the mouth. The Cheltenham Gag is made from stainless steel and is available with nylon or leather cheeks and can be used with single or double reins. Cheeks must be purchased separately.
