TopSpec High Fibre Mash is an ideal solution for horses and ponies that maintain ideal bodyweight on forage alone, yet need a low-calorie carrier for supplements and/or medications. It's designed to be fed with any TopSpec feed balancer or supplement as it doesn't have any added vitamins or trace elements. This mash can be combined with other horse feeds, like straw-based chops. What makes it superior to most straights is that it's supplemented with the major minerals calcium, sodium, and magnesium. Prior to feeding, it should be soaked in either cool or warm water for five minutes, using two parts water to one part mash.
