TopSpec Super Conditioning Flakes 20kg - Free P&P

TopSpec Super Conditioning Flakes 20kg

A cooked, muesli-style conditioning blend of micronised flaked naked oats and full-fat soya. TopSpec says it is 25% more conditioning than traditional conditioning mixes and cubes, and that 1.5kg replaces about 2kg of traditional cereals or cereal-based feed. Its oil comes mainly from the oil naturally inside the oats and soya, which suits fussy feeders that won't eat greasy feeds.

Ideal for

• Show horses
• Horses needing weight gain when you can't increase the size of their feeds
• Broodmares in late pregnancy or early lactation
• Fussy feeders needing more calories

FAQ

Do I need a balancer with it?
Yes. It has no added vitamins or trace elements, so feed it with a TopSpec feed balancer or All-in-One.

Is it low starch?
No. It is medium starch (38%) and provides fast-release energy, so it isn't suitable for horses prone to laminitis or gastric ulcers. For non-heating condition, see TopSpec CoolCondition or UlsaKind Cubes.

How do I introduce it?
Change feeds gradually over 7 to 10 days, and feed little and often.
